Scratch and Jotter has been connecting people with special stationery for over a year now. It has been an amazing year, but also one of steep learning curves.
One such curve has been how important it is to ship items to our customers as quickly, as reliably and consistently as possible.
Over the past year, we've experienced a number of issues with standard Parcel Post, and we've been left in a position where we have disappointed customers. Not cool.
In light of this, we have made some changes, and now have two providers of shipping services for our customers.
Changes to Shipping
We'll now be using a courier service as our standard shipping option. They will deliver as quickly as possible throughout Australia - sometimes even same day (if you're lucky enough to be close to us in QLD).
Note: The Courier will only deliver to street addresses.
Where the courier service is not the best option (WA, NT, Parcel Lockers & PO Boxes), we will send your amazing stationery using Australia Post Express Shipping on all Australian orders (weight dependant).
This change means that we can offer our customers fast delivery, the best possible service and we can stay competitive.
To bring this about, we also have to make some adjustments so that this offering will be viable ongoing for our customers and our business.
- General Shipping will increase from $8.50 to $9.90 - but the difference of course will be a much faster, more reliable delivery service.
- Free Shipping will now be available on all Australian purchases over $85.
We will not implement these changes until the April 17, 2017 and I sincerely hope that these changes don't impact on your experience with us in any way other than completely positive.
